Thank you for coming! Wow, there is a very definite change in the story from chapter 7 to chapter 8! For the first time, you can really see how the author put together several short stories to make this book. I had some trouble transitioning from chapter 7, concerning Ratty and Mole's adventure to save Baby Portly, and then chapter 8 and Toad's misfortunes. What about you? Tell me your thoughts, please!
